Milk/Food colouring/Detergent experiment

What do we think made it happen?

Ava: when you put the stuff in it looked like a stingray

Zara: when you put all those colours in it makes black and when you put the washing stuff in it makes it swirl around.

Zana: when you put heaps of colours in it turns black, and when you put the detergent in it still looked cool.

Calla: when we had the detergent in it you swirlled it around and it made a horse and a pony.

Connor: when we put the washing stuff in the milk it looked like fireworks.

Ashton: when we put food colour it looked different than when we tipped just one colour in, it looked really really different from when we put two different colours in.

Growing Plants

This term Room 2 has planted some radishes and carrots. We have learnt about photosynthesis, how plants make food from water, carbon dioxide and sunlight. We also learnt that trees breathe through tiny holes on their leaves called stomata.

Our next question to ponder is: How do plants breathe after they lose their leaves in Autumn?
